The Pratico Impact: Making People Thirsty with Distillerie Shefford
Established in the Eastern Townships, Distillerie Shefford specializes in the production of maple-based spirits. Our mission? Retake photos for the 16 different cocktails shown on their website in order to make them even more appealing and elegant, and to give the brand a new visual identity.
Meticulous Preparation and Logistics
Photoshoots hold no secret for us! To follow a single guideline and ensure uniformity, we first came up with a mood board. Our stylist team then created a refined, cozy background for each cocktail, making sure to showcase the liquor they contained.
As well as having to plan every detail of the photoshoot, our team had to tackle another challenge: managing the ice cubes. For the most authentic result possible, we had to plan a very large quantity of ice cubes, so as to have enough for the entire session!
The Photoshoot
Each recipe for the 16 cocktails was recreated directly in our kitchens, which are adjacent to our studio. Our photograph, Rémy Germain, brilliantly managed to deal with the many reflections on bottles and cocktail glasses. Moreover, the golden label on the Acerum bottle required special lightning. Achieving a cocktail photoshoot is trickier than one might think, and it involves several steps that must be undertaken with utmost care and expertise.
The Little Extra
Our team made sure to take some behind-the-scenes pictures of the set. Since we were also taking care of Distillerie Shefford’s social networks, this is relevant bonus content that is highly enticing to their followers!
With this project, we proved once again the strength of our team and the advantage of having professional facilities on our premises. Being able to manage a project from beginning to end in our own studios enables our agency to offer exemplary services.
